The Knife Economy
Knives are the primary tradable asset in Survive the Killer. Legendary and Godly knives hold the most value, especially those from retired events. The Chroma variants (rainbow-shifting blades) are the holy grail. When pricing a knife, check its rarity, release year, and whether it came from a limited-time crate.
Killer Skin Investing
Killer Skins change the appearance of the killer you play as. Limited event skins (like Halloween or Christmas killers) become unobtainable after the event. Since every player sees the killer during the round, rare killer skins are high-status flex items that trade for significant value.
Crate Opening vs. Trading
Opening crates is gambling. The odds of pulling a Godly are extremely low. Trading is mathematically safer. Sell your unopened event crates to players who want to gamble, or use your coins to buy specific items from other traders instead of relying on RNG.
Coin Farming for Traders
To participate in trading, you need Coins. The fastest way to earn coins is by surviving rounds as a survivor or getting high kill counts as the killer. Daily login rewards and quest completions also add up quickly. Never buy coins from third-party sellers—it's a scam risk and can get you banned.
Avoiding Duplicate Scams
Some knives and skins look nearly identical but have different rarities. Always hover over the item in the trade window to read its full name and rarity tag. If a trader is rushing you or refusing to show the item details, cancel the trade immediately.
